About Hindu Ethos
This website has been created to highlight the different facets of the Hindu Ethos. The perspective is essentially that of a freethinker rather than that of a theologian, though pro Brahamanic bias may be felt here and there. The site has been created for the English knowing Indian youngsters who, either lazily avoid Sanskrit terms or are too busy to spare time for the ancient language. The inquisitive Westerners who have grown up with the writings of Max Muller, Hermann Oldenberg etc. will also benefit from these writings because most of the English content on Hindus ethos today is being written by Hindu theologians or Dharma gurus — with an obvious personal bias and intent.
Besides, I feel that every age has given its own brand of characteristic slant to religion which needs to be straightened.
Blunt criticism, brickbats and bouquets are welcome.
